2012 is the Australian Year of the Farmer. The Australian Year of the Farmer is a national education and awareness campaign designed to promote Australian Agriculture. It is a not-for-profit organisation where all monies raised are direct back into the ongoing legacy of the Year of the Farmer, that being through further development of education and awareness campaigns in 2013 and beyond.

Key to the success of the Australian Year of the Farmer is a product called the One Country Card… A national benefits and privileges card with a $250K prize pool attached to it. Glenn McGrath (Australian Cricketer) is the face of the card and all promotions. All funds raised from sales of this card are re-invested back into the Year of the Farmer.

Unique to this card is the $250K sweepstakes which is embedded on the card. Each registered card gives entry into the draw which runs weekly, monthly and grand prize draw. Grand Prizes include a $110K Toyota Landcruiser and a $46K Jayco trailer + loads more.
